Determined to finish high school, Sara completed night school classes and summer school to graduate a year early the summer before her senior year of high school.
She was determined to go to school even as a young parent and finished her bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees all in psychology.
She decided to start a non-profit foundation in order to help guide teen parents enter into higher education.

Travis Palmer is the Co-Founder and board member of North Star Foundation.
Travis has an extensive history helping build and grow non-profit organizations, for profit organizations, and foundations. Travis has also been a CEO, executive director, and on multiple boards.
Travis is currently the CEO/President of the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce.

Jeramiah is the owner of a performance marketing company and has extensive experience in marketing, financials, and sales. Jeramiah has been on several non-profit boards over the years.
Jeramiah currently volunteers for the SCORE program through the Small Business Administration mentoring new businesses.

Brianne herself became a teen parent at age 18. After having her daughter, she was determined to pursue higher education and received her bachelor's and master's degrees in secondary education. Brianne completed her master's degree in one year.

Since 2019, Brianne has been teaching in secondary education for a rural school district in Southeastern Idaho.
